I'd never heard of Indesign before but anything with such a simple name should be simple to use, NOT! Nothing is simple to use. I'm messing with Sigil and it is written in some ancient constipated language that never got round to grammar.
(But what the hey; this is my 10th post so I can now actually get down to reading about Sigil to figure out why I came here in the first place. Why can't someone make something MacSimple so we can spend more time on dating services. And Rats, I didn't beat my time of 15 minutes.) Namaste WilliamYue0011, mhikl |

Actually WilliamYue001, I got round to looking up a little on Sigil on this forum - didn't find what I wanted, got bored, went back to Sigil and one of the actions I was doing was the right one. Don't know why it wasn't or didn't seem to work before.
So I take back my bad words about Sigil but at least it got me to this forum. I don't know if Indesign is the same sort of programme as Sigil, but at least you can do your writing on (or copy a piece to) Sigil, add chapters and bold effects etc. Not as difficult as I had at first thought. Then, if Indesign has further features you want, maybe your more polished work could be copied to it. Just a thought. Namaste, mhikl |
