Tiersten's comment about web browsers made me think of a solution for Mac users. The B&N website also treats Mac and PC users differently. [B&N won't let you download EPUBs if you are on a Mac and defaults to their PDB format - very annoying!] There is a trick to fooling the B&N website by changing the User Agent in Safari to make it emulate Internet Explorer. So I tried that with the Amazon website and it works. It thinks I'm on a PC using IE and then I can see the Read Now button in daffy4u's image capture. Anyway, I thought I'd post my findings in case any other Mac users are wondering why they don't have this new feature like I was.
