I don't know if the Kobo Pandigital is available in the USA, but I find it hard to believe we would have something in Canada not available to you first! Check it out online. I got mine onsale for $139.00, normally $179.00CDN

Thanks for the suggestion.

The more I dive into the ereader world, the less I like touchscreens for this application. In the ereader application, I like e-ink for a display.

Thus far I've found that it's much easier to light an e-ink screen for reading in the dark than it is to read an LCD screen outside in the daylight. I took a color Nook outside for a test the other day and found it all but unreadable. But inside the store, it was gorgeous!
