Also got "The Witching Hour" and "Cry to Heaven" (two of my three favorite Anne Rice books) for $3.29 each, and "Apollo's Angels - A History of Ballet" for $17.29 - more than half off the hardcover price!

But I have to stop now, because I do need to buy food at some point and payday isn't until Friday.

I bought 16 books last night at 89 cents a piece. Kobo was awesome for offering this deal!

Well, I've only picked up 4 books so far...price ranging from 0.39 to 1.29...the downside, as was mentioned in another thread...in 3 of the 4 books the formatting is not good at all...apparently provided using a conversion by Kobo instead of publisher. I can't be absolutely 100% on that, but in similar books by the same publishers cover, title, and copyright pages exist. On this, there is no cover, title page or copyright page. There is no TOC. And in at least 2 of them, the first 2 words of each chapter run together because of formatting/font issues. Don't get me wrong, I like discounts and all...but I'm not certain I'm going to do any further shopping via Kobo.

I've had that happen when I buy books that came out before August 2010. I now only buy books that came out after that date and so far all have been the publisher's version of the epub but I have in past purchase 6 books that turn out to be the Kobo's version and badly formatted with double header and italics and pics removed. These were all previous published before 08/10.
