two quick notes:

If you ever lose your free ebooks that came with your JB,JBL or ALP, Ectaco offers the download of their free offer from their jetBook site. Doesn't matter if you have a Libre Pro or Colour. They can still be used as they are all in txt format.

You should report any issues that a new FW creates especially if it takes something away such as loosing "the save of epub font size etc". Sometimes these are accidental omissions when the new FW was created. Most FW should be the same as the prior FW but with the new additions and bug fixes.

I have reported it, but they only responded once. I'm thinking I'll open a new ticket.

I finally got mine from my parents. This was the White Libre with the SD card for $60 from UE. The firmware was 15d 2009. My brother who is a Microsoft IT guy saved my 15d and upgraded me to the 19 from aluratek.com. It did pop open to German but he had remembered the 15d English to reset it to English. He basically showed me how to use it even though this was his first time seeing it and did not read this forum. The Digital Library was closed for Cmas Eve and Day. So I was not able to download any DRM books. We found a free book to download and he showed me how to drag and drop on the eternal and SD memory. I already read the free book. I am quite happy with mine so far.

Thank you for posting this Mr. Pockets! Made getting back from German worlds easier after I flashed my Libre Pro .

Another thanks Mr. Pockets. Germain I cannot read and without your "by the number" instructions I would still be sitting here scratching my head.

Anybody try the v20g firmware yet? I was updating the firmware before I give it to my wife's grandmother (got me a Nook recently) and I saw that's what it was up to on Aluratek's site. Maybe it fixes the eoub zoom issue from the 19d version. I'll take a look and see when I have a chance.

EDIT:

From what I'm seeing, it looks like v20g is correcting the "forgotten" zoom settings, although I still had the issue of it booting to German initially. As with everything, your mileage may vary.

The lost zoom feature irritates me horribly.
I hope this remedies it.

It would irritate me quite a bit as well. My eyes can handle the "stock" font size in good light with my reading glasses, but it seems like I'm never in good light with my reading glasses.

Good luck!
