The 3G is blocked, not the wifi. The wifi has no restrictions on browsing.

I misunderstood smth! I understood I had time till 27th to order for 199$!!!
But now it results to be 249 :S

Anyhow I got Kobo. It pales in comparison with 950 but I still can wait.

It seems that was an error in their system. It showed $50 discount over and above $50 discounted price offer from sony. Similar is the case with PRS-650 & PRS-350 also.
I keep my fingers crossed that they don't cancel my order now.

I ordered the 350 on Sunday while it was listed for $119.99 and it shipped out Monday morning (about a half hour before they fixed the prices on the web site.)

they ship to canada at least, why dont you look at their website?

Dang I missed the boat! I would've totally ordered a 950 for 199 if I'd seen it in time without a seconds thought!

249 sounds good too (if it becomes available again) but after seeing 199, even 249 sounds high.

Damn! I was a day late when I saw yesterday at Slickdeals.net that the Daily Edition was selling for $199. That was the best deal ever, I would have got one instantly! It was a pricing error because Sony already discounted it by $50 on their site. B&H Photo probably thought the $50 discount was on top of the already discounted $249.

Borders.com has the 950 on sale for $240, but pre-order only, so you might have to wait a while to get it. They also give Borders rewards points for it, if you use that free program.
