Make sure that you have registered your Cruz with ADE All readers & pc's have to be registered with ADE in order to have the books readable.
Now in order for me to read off of a SD card, I have to put the card into my Sony reader, plug the reader into the pc and sideload the books from my pc on to my sd card which shows up as a drive. |

Kobo sells books in two formats which ought to be seamless to the end user. 1.They offer ebooks loaded directly from their store (or desktop app) whch talks directly to their readers or their Android / Blackberry / iPhone apps. This is their own format and talks to their software. 2. They also let you download the Adobe DRM (ADE) ePub edition. It's a different copy of the same thing. You might want that as a back-up. Using your Velocity Cruz, you ought to be using the Kobo Android App to access your account and the Kobo bookstore. You ought to be able to buy the book that way and read it in that app. You don't need the ADE ePub for that. If you also want an ePub copy, you'll need to install ADE on the device in question, authorize it on the account, and use ADE as the reader. But there is NO need to do that is the Kobo app works for you. |

SensualPoet,
Apparently, the Cruz reader doesn't have access to the full Android Market and so she has been trying to find a way to download the kobo app without going thru the Android Market. |

I am having the same problem. The Cruz Reader only reads eBooks. I've tried PDF and ePUB but it won't work. I tried sending a ticket to MyCruzCenter but am ignored. I tried calling them but was told they could not help me because it involved third party software. Any suggestions?
