Correct, time is UTC+2 [Coordinated Universal Time] in summer, UTC+1 the other half of year.
Yamp, this is complicated. Most asian countries don't have Daylight Saving Time. DST in North America starts before European date. ...

So it seems that the time difference between European countries and N America is quite large. I myself am GMT -8

I think I'm -5 right now, but it's -6 when we're not on Daylight Savings. I don't know why they don't just move it half and hour and leave it -- that'd probably just be too simple.

A question I ask myself every miserable dark winter winter evening. I'm GMT being in Ireland but insomniac so posting times don't bother me too much
