I'm going to suggest something that will keep you reading and laughing for a long time to come given that there are 37 books in the series.

I highly suggest reading the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. But, read them in published order. I am reading #16 now and it does make reference to some previous books and you won't have a clue unless you've read them. So ignore the chart that's going around telling you it's ok to read in some weird order.

These books are highly entertaining, fun, and a laugh out loud good time.
