I did so, but it is annoying to edit every pdf by hand. I used the linux utility "pdfcrop" in case some linux users are interested..

Sony PRS-650 has sort of continuous zoom mode, where it zooms in and scrolls the viewing area over 2 or 3 columns of text. Works really really fine. As for reflowing - I don't know about PDFs being "tagged" with some property, but I found that almost every PDF that I've tried was reflowable on both Sony and Irex readers. Images were problematic - sometimes they were left as they were, sometimes they were scaled, sometimes they were gone.

But yes, lack of proper reflow (among other things) resulted in me deciding that I'll get better value out of Sony PRS-650. Let's hope Amazon will be nice and they'll add reflow to Kindle.
