Installed and tested two libraries, still running from source. Both still exhibit the same problem.

Next test: run only from the binary, not source.

Uninstall, reinstall, reboot seems to have fixed it. Yay!

I have exactly the same problem. Windows version of Calibre, binary from website, 0.7.21 (updated from 0.7.20) - Name and Title of any newsfeed is "Unknown", tags are set OK. Output format is set to MOBI. Any idea how to fix that? Is it known problem to be fixed in next release? Thanx for any response

It is not yet a known problem as the only other person to report this corrected it by uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling the software. Or I guess he said Uninstall, reinstall, reboot fixed his problem.

Good Luck.

OK, I thought that it is worth mentioning, because Starson17 was compiling it from source and I'm using downloaded binary, installed over older version without any past modifications. However, I was curious - so I uninstalled Calibre, deleted everything related to Calibre even in AppData, restarted (just to be sure), installed 0.7.21 again -> everything is OK, Calibre is naming recipes feed appropriately. Don't know what caused it, but now it is solved, thank you for interest and reply.

I am having the same issue but could not fix by clean reinstall. In fact, I installed 0.7.21 Windows binary on a Win7 laptop without any Calibre history, and I am still getting both Author and Title set to unknown (just as on my PC where I updated from 0.7.20).

Regards, Mixx
