Looks good. I can see me using several of these options at different times. I would also find it useful to have an option to remove non <dc> elements from the metadata section.

Is that "looks good" from a screenshot or you have actually tried it?
You will need to give more detail on the non <dc> metadata elements thing. What causes them, and what problem do they create? |

Can I use this plugin to apply a single modification to a single epub (or selected subset of epubs) or is it aimed at bulk operations on the whole library like the Quality Checker?
Sorry if I'm being a bit dim |

This plugin is selection based. So my workflow has been to run Quality Check first to find books that need a particular remedy. Then select one or more of those books and run this plugin against them.

Non <dc:> metadata elements seem be calibre introductions, which I want to remove as a final tidy-up before uploading a book to MR. These elements include: <opf:meta name="calibre:title_sort" content="Affectionate Address, An"/> <opf:meta name="calibre:user_categories" content="{}"/> <meta name="calibre:user_metadata ... |

I just tried it out for Adobe xpgt margins - seems to do the trick nicely, singly or in bulk. Very cool! Will try out some of the other functions shortly.

@drMerry - yeah I thinking what I am going to do with those in both this and the QualityCheck plugin is just treat them as "iTunes files" rather than have two separate functions for plists and artwork. Had I know about them previously it would have been the initial behaviour. For now you can remove them using the "Remove unmanifested files" option, but obviously that requires a little more careful use than a "Remove iTunes files" option would.

At this moment I use my plugin to find the files and added some lines (indeed on the remove plist) to remove them.
Great work again! |

REMEMBER, artwork could be the cover for calibre, so maybe it is better to still split it

??? What do you mean? As I understand it this file is only used for displaying a cover in iTunes. Either you are interested in putting your ePubs in iTunes (in which case you won't bother removing any iTunes files), or you aren't (in which case removing any seems perfectly safe and sensible). There is no code in Calibre I could find that looks for this filename.
