Good morning, everyone! Happy Solstice! A chilly morn waiting for the sun to rise, 16°c and I'm drinking a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea to warm me up. I know that by 9am I'll be sleeveless again, but right now it sure feel's like winter.

Happy Solstice. From here on out, the days get longer, thank goodness! The one thing I didn't really factor in when we bought our house in Canada 11 years ago was just how much shorter the days were in the winter. Combine that with the typical west coast weather (wet, foggy, and/or gray), and you have a recipe for S.A.D.

A glass of cranberry juice to take my pills with tonight.

It's my third cup of coffee. I am so filled with caffeine today, I think it may be one of the factors why I was having a headache. Too many stuff to finish, but hanging out in the forum for now (lounging in comfort zone for a time-out/relaxation talking about everything interesting that's non-work related. lol)

Yep, just closed my most favorite day of the year, the solstice, knowing that we will now start slowly marching towards more daylight. I really am a S.A.D. panda this time of year, that's one of the reasons I spent so much time skiing. Who knows? Maybe I'll get back on the boards yet.

I know the feeling, being north of you! If it weren't for my S.A.D. light, it would be worse, but it's still not great. Hang in there, it gets better from here on out. Just way too slowly.
