Armageddon 2419 A.D. by Philip Francis Nowlan is FREE at Amazon US. (I believe it is PD, but Open Road does a nice job.)

This is the original novella that introduced Buck Rogers. I haven't read it yet myself, but be aware, it is very much of its time.

It depends on if it's the novella with that name or the novel that combines the two novellas "Armageddon—2419 A.D." and "The Airlords of Han"

My western Virginia (so far west, down in the little triangle jammed between Kentucky and Tennesse, that they are even more west than West Virginia) mother and relatives on that side of the family are definitely y'all-ers.
