I attend regularly the Two River Theater next door and The Count Basie Theater down the street which is why I'm familiar with the area. |

Yeah. They are going to refund the order and they lost us as customers. I'll go somewhere else when I want pizza.
I didn't expect compensation but I'd like more than "that shouldn't have been in there." I wanted to say "You think!?!" I wanted him to say they reprimanded pink shirt for outrageous behaviour but it looks like because of her looks she gets a free pass. Not much of an apology. I have a big situation
Anyone here can help me with advice. My cat vomited into an electric outlet. I got the circuit breaker off. It's one of those big black boxes you plug a 220 appliance in like washer/dryer. How do I clean it? On a even more horrible note. I found what killed Maisy. It seems the previous tenant put poison in back of a cabinet. Rat or bug I don't know but Sweetpea got ahold of it and is now very sick. I've looked for over a year for it but because the cabinets are black paint I overlooked it. I'm so mad I'm shaking. I can't lose her. I don't even know how to get rid of it. It seems to have become part of the wood. Nailed everything shut for now. My God We've been using that cabinet for dishes and silverware. ![]() Sent from my XT1528 |

Okay got the outlet cleaned. I'm still here. Sticking Qtips in an outlet goes against my self preservation but....
Poor Kitty. She's sleeping now. She was locked in that cabinet which she entered through the drawer on top for two hours. We couldn't find her. Afterwards she acted exhausted then got up use the litter box which was not solid and vomited in it, on the wall and outlet. Sent from my XT1528 |

Honestly, if it was me, I'd cut the power at the circuit breaker/fuse box and buy a replacement outlet at Home Depot or Lowe's. |

I'm sure you mean Sweetpea. Yeah she's still sick. She's drank a ton of water today. See when Maisy was alive she drank a ton of water daily this is why the vet said diabetes. I see now it's a side effect to the poison. Without knowing what it is they don't know how to treat it.

Ok, here goes my poor attempt at a rant.
I think people read too much fiction, and not enough non-fiction, on their devices. Current devices have adequate highlighting and note taking abilities to facilitate analytical reading. Reading fiction tends to be the easiest elemental low level, of reading, and most Americans only read at an eighth grade level, below analytical , that is why authors like James Patterson are so popular. Don't get me wrong I don't think that people should never read fiction but I think they should read more non-fiction. There is a way in which we modern humans are inundated with information so we need to choose good filters to the information we imbibe. Reading , non-fiction, but not just any old non-fiction, is a good way to do this. It is good to give a book a quick ten minute superficial flip-through to see if it is worthy of a deeper analytical reading. Also, newer books tend to be better than older books because the publishing industry is more competitive, nowadays, and the cream generally rises to the top. Also, newer books tend to benefit from updated information (but not always). Reading fiction is primarily a pleasurable entertaining activity for people and Aristotle parenthetically refers in the Nichomachean Ethics:[Greek: o phronimoz to alupon dioke e ou to aedu] or, as it may be translated, not pleasure, but freedom from pain, is what the wise man will aim at. So, it is hip to be square and don't be shy to break out even the nerdiest , of non-fiction, it is good for you ! ![]() Last edited by KevinBurke; 03-10-2017 at 01:30 AM. I don't read non fiction because most of it is misinformation, someone else's opinion and usually not worth the page it's printed on and any real info I need I can find for free on Google. I read to escape my life. I read to get away from the ugly world we live in. I do read magazines though and some religious books but that's about it. I prefer my romances, cozy mysteries and urban fantasy. I hate simple writing and love authors who write with proper English.
