Picked up hundreds (it seems) of toys off carpet, vacuumed up tons (it seems) of little cardboard bits from the scratching boxes, replaced above mentioned toys back on carpet, trimmed nails after cats emerged from under bed, fed snacks, stopped a few fights, ....

now we're all having some "quiet time" and lunch.

Agreed - we only did it because neither of them have been neutered yet, and have never been outside before, so until they are used to the environment, and we are sure they won't be impregnating or impregnated (we have one of each), the harnesses stay on.
