A wee bit of brandy. Today was supposed to be vet day for the fur kids. Getting Aragorn into the car was a no brainer, Arwen was relatively easy, Strider blew up he started fighting me tooth and claw when we got to the car. He managed to slip his collar and is now in the bushes behind me complaining loudly about his fate.

No vet today. I'm supposed to go to the city council meeting tonight. It would be nice if he got over his bad self before then

Good morning everyone! Happy Guy Fawkes Night to our British cousins! Tonight also marks the beginning of the major events here in Thailand's Loy Krathong holiday season. Although there have been fireworks every night, and khum loy (paper hot-air balloons) going up, the real push will be tonight and tomorrow night, with the entire sky filled with them. So many, in fact, that most night-time air flights have to be cancelled from Chiang Mai International Airport. My wife is flying out tomorrow for a trip back to Japan, and had to plan her flight for morning to avoid the balloons!

Good unbranded Keemun tea in my mug this morning. I'm so glad that I was able to stock up on this stuff, and that it was packaged so well keeping it fresh. It's a very nice brew! In fact, I think I'm going to go make a second one!

Sencha but I am having to nuke it to warm it. Someone messed with the clock on my tea machine last night so it was cold this morning. Booo. Yummy but I don't like nuking my tea.
