LOL! Oh, I see. He's fine - just busy. He spent most of yesterday redoing a friend's computer (Linux and RAID array complicated by a faulty hard drive). Today we're headed out to see about a cheap counter solution (the kitchen counter is peeling..NOT acceptable), and he has a bookcase to put together.

*Should* being the operative word there... he won't fix anything unless it's causing immediate danger. However, on the positive side, this means that not only do we have relatively cheap rent, we can do just about anything we want. He will usually reimburse us for materials.
