I'm sitting at the computer listening to the cats destroy, errr play with, a paper bag in the kitchen. The kitten hides inside, and the older cats whap the outside and dare her to come out! Hours of fun!

I have to say that it is the "script" that the call centers have to follow that makes me want to beat my head against a wall. EVERY time I've had to call AT&T about my internet connection we have to go through this whole song and dance about resetting the modem, etc, etc, even when my internet it working fine and only the e-mail is down. (Or something similar.) I've gotten to the point of saying things like, "I can't get to the modem right now, my baby is asleep in that room, so let's move on to the next step." They don't like it, but eventually they will move on. So so so aggravating, though!!

I am waiting for my laundry to finish, catching up on tv shows (thank you netflix!) and eating sunloaf toast (toast made from bread that has sunflower seeds in it)

The problem is that when you have so many different possibilities from both sides the tech or call center worker has to narrow it down and this sometimes takes time. I do get ticked when they do that, but I understand the reason why and learn to live with it. I mentioned before that I can't remember the last time I called a Support line, Call Center or Help Desk, only because like you, I feel like I waste more time than it takes me to learn what to do on my own.

I should also point out that there is a huge difference between tech and medical call centers. I would bet you have called a call center for a medical reason, ie. calling to make an appointment at a major hospital or medical center, these are the types of things that are now outsourced in the Medical industry.

Thanks for asking, I still don't know, I understand they will make the follow up on Tuesday and the final decision within 2 weeks. SS I'll be happy to drink a few with you. I started on an after dinner drink

The funny thing is I am now a little swamped with work from my contracts with 2 companies, they both had nothing for me on Monday and on Thursday they both asked me to come in today, a little bit of a juggling act

All good though, this should keep me busy for a week or so.
