I seem to have really gotten into Anno 1404 again. Just played for 2 hours instead of the planned 30 mins. Very addictive!

I really have no idea. He did use some sort of large plastic card, but he also had to use a lot of force. I'm not sure I could have done that myself.

I learned the credit card trick back in the '60s from reading the Dick Tracy comic strip in our daily paper. The Sunday comics always had a "Crimestoppers' Textbook" section that detailed how to avoid crime (or commit them, if you were so inclined). I've entered many a locked door using that bit of knowledge from the Crimestoppers' Textbook. Fortunately, like my signature forging skills, I only use my powers for good.

That, and the thirty minutes to drive to your place and back. If you take the lock to them, it's cheaper .... but on a front door, that's a wee bit difficult!

It wasn't because of any inherent problem with the contacts. I've only acquired glasses again just recently, ironically as my short-sightedness has become less of a problem (age and moving out from behind a monitor more often). I'll probably stay with glasses for the aesthetics (i.e. vanity

).

I hope they work out for you. I think it's a hope with reasonable probability of being satisfied.
