There is a "Font Weight" setting under the B tab of the bottom reader menu. It only has "regular" or "bold" options. You can, of course use any fonts that have their own weighting, like I some times use the Semi-Bold version of my regular Stone Serif font. The "Contrast" settings are "lighter default darker" and the numerical value for each is displayed, as you make the selection. There is a script that contains those gamma values, where you can change them to what you may want available to select. Luck; Ken |

Can anyone tell me why KOReader font size seems to stoop at size 44 or so, and you can't increase them any larger, even though the UI indicates the size is larger? Bug?? |

It's a kind of bug, yes. See https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/2686

Does the last notes in the referenced bug indicate that a fix has been added to code, or it is still pending? Thanks.. |

If it's to remove it, you can do that through the dictionary settings menu. Otherwise, settings and such are predictably in koreader/settings. |

Thanks for the prompt reply. I need to export the file into a .txt file and use it on my computer, but couldn't find where Koreader saves them though it's accessible through the reader itself.

Installed KSM and KOReader on Aura One LE. Pressing the koreader button image does not start KOReader but the KSM. I need to press the menu entry inside KSM to start KOReader. Is this e expected behavior?

I run KOReader with KSM on Kobo A1 LE. I am modifying the frontend/apps/filemanager/filemanager.lua file to add an extra button in the long-press-context-menu for files or folders in file manager. If I add the button as the first one-line button, the whole thing crashes. If I add the button at the end, after the set-as-home-directory button, all is OK. This does not happen in KOReader for Kindle. Here is the relevant crash.log. Any help is appreciated. ./luajit: plugins/coverbrowser.koplugin/covermenu.lua:213: attempt to index a nil value stack traceback: plugins/coverbrowser.koplugin/covermenu.lua:213: in function 'onFileHold' frontend/ui/widget/filechooser.lua:331: in function 'onMenuHold' plugins/coverbrowser.koplugin/listmenu.lua:675: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/inputcontainer.lua:205: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:87: in function 'propagateEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:105: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:87: in function 'propagateEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:105: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:87: in function 'propagateEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:105: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:87: in function 'propagateEvent' ... frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:105: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:87: in function 'propagateEvent' frontend/ui/widget/container/widgetcontainer.lua:105: in function 'handleEvent' frontend/ui/uimanager.lua:454: in function 'sendEvent' frontend/ui/uimanager.lua:149: in function '__default__' frontend/ui/uimanager.lua:698: in function 'handleInputEvent' frontend/ui/uimanager.lua:759: in function 'handleInput' frontend/ui/uimanager.lua:803: in function 'run' ./reader.lua:195: in main chunk [C]: at 0x00013fc5 |

For your first post above; you need to start Nickel using KSM's NickelKoreaderSwitch option, for the Icon to work. For the last; you should ask at the project on Github Luck; Ken |

After a few days of tests I can report that the integration KA1-LE + KSM 9-update-2 + KOReader last nightly distribution works great. I am using the official Kobo cover, it may be relevant for what follows. I have only one problem: the device left in sleep mode while KOReader is open, and staying sleepy for 24 hours, completely depletes the battery. This is too severe. Later edit: KSM 9 itself does not go to sleep by cover. So, back to KOReader power drain. Last edited by hfpop; 05-25-2018 at 05:52 AM. |

@hfpop: Open an issue on GH (or dig up an old one if there's still one open on the subject).
