I used to love windy days. These days, as an adult who owns a home with several very large, very old trees nearby, I'm a bit more ambivalent.

TPBM is all ready for the holiday season.

Essentially. I still have a few more trifles to pick up, but nothing that matters. The house is decorated and cooking isn't my bailiwick, so I can coast from now on.

Depends on how you mean staying put. The XYL and I will be visiting our children on Saturday and Sunday but no long trips planned.

The PBM has a favourite Christmas dish they have made every year for over a decade.

One present since that was my family tradition to open a gift after midnight mass.

The PBM does not clean up wrappings until after all the gifts are opened.

Old songs are always the best. Because bad songs are forgotten, and only the good ones are remembered and still sung!
