In good medical news, one of my favourite authors, Rosemary Kirstein, just got the path report back on her breast cancer, post chemo and post surgery. All Clean!

So, I'm going to celebrate in my hotel room with a bit of Diet Coke and an early night!

Good morning, everyone! Today is a good day! I woke up. No one is shooting at me. I have good 'English Breakfast' tea from Viang Joom On. I've got food on the table. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Who could ask for more? Today is a good day!

yeah, I know, but you know that pain you have when you have just been hit in the nose? it was kind of like that, suck in your breath, then try to breathe again then even see. I think if he had been a little closer to me I may have clocked him. it was truly awful and on top of the pain itself I was so incredibly sleep deprived it was pathetic.

I am going after the original surgeon. I don't know if this guy's presence will be in the chart records or not. it was actually very satisfying sitting in front of the attorney and watching his face as he read my chart notes and not getting a "the retainer will be $$$$$" and hearing, yep! you have a case!

Good morning, everyone! Sun's up, peeking though the clouds... Nice morning! Not much to do today except gather together my kit for this weekend, take a walk, read my book, maybe throw a load of laundry into the machine... Lazy day... I'm drinking my newest Ceylon tea today. Hmmm... gotta remember to bag up some more tea and pack it too. I'm sure all I'll find in the hotel will be Yellow Label Lipton *shudder* Hmmm 7:30 already... Where does the time go? I'd better get down to see the Food Lady!

There are 196 fencers already entered into the Lists. I'm one of 'em! Time to find out if I've actually aged... At 67, and having been away from the sport for more than 30 years, is it really possible to make a come-back? Time to go pray to my Fencing God... I want to bring home at 'least' a Bronze.
