I'm not a big poster, but I'm thinking of you too, KK.
My stage 0 cancer (lumpectomy and then re-do in same spot) led to only radiation treatment, but no chemo (yay). The radiation fatigue should have been over about May 1, and it seemed to be lessening. However, the kill-all-the-estrogen-still-in-your-body med they gave me seems to have caused its own major fatigue. So I'm still feeling wiped out if I do much. I'm nearly back to full days at work though. We stopped that med 3 weeks ago, and it's still wreaking havoc on my system. On July 1 I'll start a different med and hope that it works better with my body! (oops - spelling) Last edited by badgoodDeb; 06-16-2014 at 01:22 PM. |

Cancer sucks. Pretty much the only way to say it.
badgoodDeb, I hope that you are able to find something that works for you and leaves you with energy soon. Oprah's Chai in my cup. Good stuff. |

Best of luck and warm hugs to badgoodDeb and kindlekitten.
Meanwhile, hotel "orange juice" (sic) in my cup. Need to go into the office so I can make some Lion Mountain Keemun. |

Deb, I'm sending some good energy your way. Use it anyway you wish to! It's riding on top of a glass of tequila, so it may have some extra kick!

I don't know if this is harder or easier going in again. I just dread the recovery time so much! and I will never forget the a$$hole physical therapist that came in on day two and pulled my walker out of my hands! the hospital had not been "listening" to the pain management issues I was having, and he decided he was going to be a miracle worker. now that I know I'm a genetic mutant (and have the DNA testing to back it up) and morphine doesn't work on me, I'm going to write on all of my limbs in SHARPIE! "NO MORPHINE" the day of my surgery. as well as have all of it ready for my pre-admit this week. yes, indeed, I am imitating one of Pooh's cousins.... bawk awk ba bawk!!!! (sorry Pooh) |

Take me to the night I'm tippin topsy turvy turning upside downHold me tight and whisper what you wish for there is no one here around Oh you may sing song me sweet smiles regardless of the city's careless frown Come watch the no colors fade blazing Into petal sprays of Violets of Dawn In blindful wonderment's enchantments you can lift my wings softly to fly Your eyes are like swift fingers reaching out into the pockets of my night Whirling twirling puppy warm before the flashing cloaks of darkness gone Come see the no colors fade blazing Into petal sprays of Violets of Dawn ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhEJ_ZCZuqE ) Good morning, everyone! Today is a good day! I woke up. No one is shooting at me. I have good 'English Breakfast' tea from Viang Joom On. I've got food on the table. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Who could ask for more? Today is a good day! Stitchawl |
