Your picture of Maastricht is lovely.

That type of scenery and those types of buildings always appear very picture-book to me.

Looking at all the kitty pictures and wishing I had a kitty around here to cuddle.
Only dogs and stoopid smelly ones at that. the only good one is the ageing guard dog and we are not allowed to play with her.

My kitchen has become over-run with boxes. Right now there are three of them on the floor. Two are on their side with small holes cut on three sides (although Felicity has enlarged the holes a bit the help her with her sneak attacks as we walk by) and one box with the top open for her to sleep in when she needs box time. There is also one large paper shoping bag on the floor. That makes special noise when she runs in and out, and must remain despite my objections that it makes it hard to walk from the sink to the table as she often moves it around.

But I am setting in with a nice glass of Bombay Sapphire and getting ready for a movie... A pleasant way to end the day!

I know what you mean. This is our second experience with a kitten. I converted a large dog crate into a "Kitten play-pen" - the only thing that keeps our sanity during the early days. Sometimes we all need a little time out!
