Hi, prs+ is great, but i'm having one annoying issue
when i mount my custom fonts directory like here the reader stops detecting some of the books in internal memory,i haven't noticed any pattern for this, though moving them to an sd card makes them visible again. Problem disappears when i disable the mounting script wat do. |

Lemko,
if fonts are small, try copying them to /tmp and mounting from there. It could also be simply corrupted filesystem. (easy to corrupt it if it is mounted) |

Mounting from /tmp seem to fix it, thanks.
it didn't seem corrupted, since everyting copied from the internal memory was accessible from sd card, or it is just my filesystem noobness talking. Anyway, thanks again. |

No plans for LRF (dead undocumentd standard).
fbreader is possible in a sense that "nothing is impossible". It's very challenging though. As far as fb2 goes, the only downsidw with built-in fb2epub converter is lack of hypenation. |

On the PRS+ Website, latest version is 2.01.4beta, which is dated before this change. Thanks. |

Pinecone:
You would have to make a custom build of PRS+ Read here: http://code.google.com/p/prs-plus/wiki/BuildingPRSPlus (just the first 9 lines) You need as man can read there: Java a software called 'ANT' to compile PRS+ a software called 'MERCURIAL' for download the sourcecode of PRS+ rename and edit one specific file ('prsp.properties.sample') compile PRS+ with starting ant in a DOS-box (black command-box): navigate to the right path in the DOS-box and write 'ANT' If things work well, one minute later you should have got a folder named 'PRSPInstaller' which is your new build of PRS+. I am just to used to Calibre, where each release can be installed by an idiot.
![]() How do I edit and rename the file? I find it in the clone, I open the file and select Edit, I edit it, but how to save edits? And how to rename? |

A custom build is no RELEASE. You have the latest release installed. If you want to be on the outer edge of the developing process you have to COMPILE a 'personal release'. That's why it is more complicated. Questions: Have you installed the software (ANT, mercury)? Did you download the source-files of PRS+? A. Edit: there would be one more possibility: somebody ;-) does a building process for your model of ereader and post it here for downloading Last edited by Analogus; 10-22-2011 at 07:29 AM. |

The issue is, I can rename files normally.
But I am working in the clone, in Google. So that is where I was using the Edit button. So I must assume that the clone is on my hard drive somewhere. But I don't see it. And it is early in the morning, and I haven't had enough coffee. ![]() |

It is in the afternoon here... You HAVE to install the required software and download with 'MERCURY' the source code to your PC (which was the tricky part for me). Then you'll have a lot of files (!) on your hard drive in a specific folder you define in Mercury. That's your own repository. One of the files you have to rename and alter with a text-editor (for example the text-editor from windows): .../build/prsp.properties.sample should be renamed to prsp.properties Open with an editor: Alter the second line from MODEL=300 to MODEL=950 if you want to build PRS+ for the PRS950. Then compile with ANT. A. Last edited by Analogus; 10-22-2011 at 08:25 AM. |

Read point 4. In Mercury you have to paste somewhere the path to the repository you want to download from. I cannot remember which one: Code:
'hg clone https://prs-plus.googlecode.com/hg/' Code:
'hg clone -r <revision> https://prs-plus.googlecode.com/hg/' And don't forget to install ANT. Without that you cannot make a custom build even when you have downloaded the files right. A. Last edited by Analogus; 10-22-2011 at 08:40 AM. |
