Okay -- now I see I have the 64-bit version (Sigil-0.2.4-Windows-x86_64-Setup.exe), which I downloaded from Softpedia, where they say it is for "Windows All." They don't seem to have a separate link for the 32-bit version.
Anyone have a link where I can download the 32-bit version? I see a Google Code result, but when I follow the link I repeatedly get a server error. . . . |

When I try that specific link to Google Code, I get a "500 Server Error." When I try the link to the project page, I get the same 500 Server Error.
I take it this doesn't happen to everyone. . . . I'll keep trying, maybe from a different computer. Thanks for all the advice. |

It's possible Google is having some minor issues with their servers. The GC servers have piss-poor reliability. You wouldn't expect that from Google, but there it is.

Thank you for adding command-H to Hide files on Macs. A small thing, but it speeds me up.

1) There are un-encoded spaces in the embedded file name 2) your path to the stylesheet is wrong in the listed document Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="../Styles/stylesheet.css" type="text/css" /> |

If it's a missing stylesheet, you could try the following
Depending on your abilities, you could create a blank textfile, rename it stylesheet.css then open the epub in a zip program (you may meed to change its filetype) and drill down into the OEBPS sub-directory, add the stylesheet.css into the location (If there is one already, something else is wrong), re-save the zip/epub (rename it back to epub if needed) Hopefully that should do it. |

Hi, there is already a CSS file located outside the OEBPS folder so should I need to create another one in the OEBPS folder?

The traditional place is inside a OBPS SUB FOLDER called Styles.., Your documents are in Text
That is why the path to the stylesheet starts with dot dot. It backs down one level the up into Styles. But the bottom line is: your Path statement says you have the Stylesheet IN OBPS. From your statement, you don't...Thus the error |

<link rel="stylesheet" href="OEBPS/stylesheet.css" type="text/css" /> But this means it expects the stylesheet to be in repack3.epub/OEBPS/Text/OEBPS/ (relative to the Text directory). If the stylesheet is in the OEBPS directory, you should change this to: <link rel="stylesheet" href="../stylesheet.css" type="text/css" /> |

The CSS file that I have was auto-generated by Indesign CS5. The structure of the file is different from those that i downloaded from the web.
What's the best and efficient way to convert a book to epub file that it's readable? I'm using Indesign to publish epub file and then use text editor to edit some values in the epub file. |
