I'd like to win a Cybook please because ...

a) I don't win prizes in give-away draws, and this would be an opportunity to debunk this as a myth.

b) The draw date is my 33rd Wedding Anniversary.

c) My arm will only go one way when it's being twisted behind my back and the big stick also hurts.

d) I have 6 cats and a dog.

e) I love chocolate and the Cybook comes with a loverly chocolate cover.

f) A second Cybook will allow me to maintain a spare and, perhaps, persuade my lady to use one.

I'm entering! if I win I will let my son who is going back into the Navy SEALS (made it through one go around now he has to put me back into panic mode again!) have his choice of my current reader or which ever (probably a Kindle 2) reader I choose. also I am a great ambassador for e-readers, as not only does my Kindle go everywhere, but so does my pup! and we always attract people that want to talk and know everything about us!

I would like to win because:

1) I'm new here and posted my 1st post today
2) I'm going to Thailand with my mother for 3 weeks. (20 hour flight with your mother!!!) And I will need something to read while her and my aunts talk about me in a language I do not know.
3)I've been reading books off my iPhone and this will save me trips to the eye doctor and save me from changing my contact script (again)
4)I used to work for a publishing co and they were so horrible, I had to leave for my own sanity and I miss the sweet discount. (ebooks are cheaper!)
5) Pretty please!!

Smile I'm in

Uhn, let me see: free ebook reader, no need to rip an arm or liver out, doesn't have to kill anybody (yet!)... ok, I´m in.

Why should I should be picked? Good question! Well, first: I WANNA!!

Also, it's not possible to (legally) buy any of the real good readers here in Brazil. The only one I found for sale here is a RocketBook (you read it!) clone. So it would be real cheap!

Well, I'm also a big (meaning, fat) supporter of ebooks and readers. I spread the word about them to all my friends and family. A couple of them even bought ones for themselves.

And you must realize it isn't really for me: I would give to my dear old sick mother, who loves so much to read. Of course, since she's also blind, I would have to keep it so I could read it to her. From time to time. But I would give it to her. Also of course, she would have to pry it loose from my cold dead hands.

Did I forgot any.... oh, yes, my dog died!

I think that's it. By the way, half of the above is a lie.

I would like to win the Kindle. I currently own a sony e reader and love it. As an administrator of an elderly assisted living home, I would like the opportunity to share books with my residents using this easy format. I would help with book storage space and allow residents the opportunity to try out new technology as well.

I'd love to win because I'd really like to show all the sceptics in my family how nice a good ebook reader can be. :-)

I am new to all of this! I passionately would like to receive the new Kindle Reader. I have been off and on the sites so wanting to get one, but because I live in Canada I have been horribly mixed up as to which of the e-readers would be the best for me. I am turning 67 this year and have just once again become interested in snuggling down with a good book to sooth my soul and mind. I am totally intreged by the e-reader, (so pack away the old novels or give them to others who would enjoy a lazy afternoon or evening emerged in a good story or two). It would be so magnificent to win the new model of the Kindle e-reader. This is why I would Love to win this contest........ It would be great if we could all win, don't you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joy

I should win a new e-reading device because I am the most deserving person who frequents the Mobileread forums. Exactly what I'm deserving of, nobody will say, but many people have assured me that I "have it coming to me." Obviously, they mean an ebook reader.

I would like to participate in the giveaway.

Why should I receive an ereader? For many reasons already listed here. Then why me and not anyone else? Because I've never been lucky with this sort of things. If I win this giveaway, then it will be a turning point in my life, where I finally win something (that I didn't have to work for).

I'd like to enter the giveaway. I'd like to win because it's about time to upgrade from my trusty old PRS-500, and I'm looking forward to highlighting, note-taking, and searching on my reader.

I am entering the giveaway.

You should pick me because my wife got me a Sony reader and now won't let me use it. its loaded with her romance novels and always in her hands. I would really like one of my own, and not just in name only! While I am not complaining I would like some alone time with my reader. I am old and don't have much time left, so hurry with your selections!

Help stop Kindle Envy!

I'd like to win, if only because I've secretly coveted my husband's shiny new Kindle 2 since he received it a few weeks ago.

Thank you for running such a fun contest!

I'd like to win because I currently do not have a reader, but I do have a thousand ebooks waiting to be read!

I hope to get a reader soon (pocket pro) and my new phone watch will have an ereader, albiet 1.5" x 1.5", but I'm not certain of what format it'll use.

If I win, I'll probably choose the Pocket PRO (slate blue), which will save you a little bit of cash, since it's lower priced than your other options. So, right there is your incentive for me winning

I've joined in many threads in the Astak threads, and am awaiting this new model with drooling tastebuds.
