An additional note is about the WiFi error I get whenever I launch it. It looks like the wifi status is not reflected correctly. But manga sources are still working. Is that normal? Is it happening on other ereaders as well? The top right icon stays disabled...

EDIT:
Somtimes I get the message "could not start process (check failed: ok)" at start and it doesn't work.

Thank for the update. Update to source is really good, But on this release keyboard for search not showing when clicked. In release before this, keyboard works. I can still use this great app without search capability. Fix is really appreciated. Thank you once again to author and contributor . I used kobo Libra

Hey sideloading mangas is not possible, and also not planned at the moment, sorry.

WiFi handling can still be quite janky for some reason sometimes. You will probably have the best experience if you just connect to the WiFi in stock firmware and start UMR afterwards.
No idea why the icon would say it's disabled for you if its working anyway

Another minor release just dropped!

Fixed some issues with Mangadex.
Chapters that reference external hosters could obviously not be parsed correctly and are now no longer listed.

As in the release before:

Added a experimental touchscreen handler, to hopefully add support for newer devices.
This also includes the fix from @mlaw. Additional code is taken form @NiLuJe's FBInk touch tool.
You can enable it by editing the file ultimatemangareader.sh, adding ":experimentaltouchhandler" to the end of QT_QPA_PLATFORM=... for example:

Hi Folks,
This post is active for a while a I hope someone could help me! I Figue how to install NickelMenu on my Kobo Libra 2. I figure out how to extract the zip file of UMR on my .add in my kobo! Now I see the UMR under NickelMenu and when I clicked the app open but it froze. I cannot click anywhere and I need to restart my kobo again! Does someone could help please? Many thanks in advance

Only one problem on my Kobo Aura HD, I can't exit properly from the application : exit or close = rebooting ... is it a bug ?

btw, I've got the same problem as mentionned here :

'I am using Kobo Aura One. After installing this ultimate manga reader, all the .png files from .adds/qt directory are showing up under My Books on the device. How do I stop them from showing up?"

I tried to edit the kobo ereader config file but there is no "feature" menu ...
I tried the solution mentionned page 17/18 but png files are still showing ...

Any ideas ?

Using the latest version with experimentaltouchinput works on my kobo sage to start, but it seems to lock up once I touch one of the options at the top, not accepting any touch input at all.

I reinstalled KFmon (and used the previous) just to be safe but it's still happening.

It's not timer based as I can mess around in the settings menu for as long as I want, just the moment I load a list it locks up.

If the pen mode shenanigans I mentioned earlier are still in the latest binaries, it will most definitely murder the kernel very very quickly, so that's not entirely surprising .

Ah, thanks. I tried using the old patch linked up thread but the api's don't like up so I guess im waiting for a fix?
