Beautiful weather today in North Texas. Partly cloudy with a temperature of around 18 C, rising to 26 C this afternoon. Birds are chirping. My hibiscuses made it though with only minor cold burns. One of the is opening a bloom today...

Of course by monday morning, it's supposed to be -10 C.

Time to defrost the turkey.
It's about 2:00 PM PST (GMT-8). It's -8 C way too cold for me. Weatherman says it might be the first coast to coast white Christmas in 40 years.

Must take the turkey out of the freezer and allow it to slowly defrost in the fridge.



Which one is the turkey?

Today, it was -19 here in the Great Icebox. And that was in Farenheit! I start worrying when the actual temp starts drawing the the iso point. Especially early in the season lkie this.
