Never Settle Never Again. By Marques Lewis.

A Relationship Book to let women's intuition know not to settle for guys, who are not going to give them unconditionally love and making them feel less of a woman… Seems oriented toward African-Americans, but I don't see how it would make much, if any, difference to people of any race. If this post prevents even one woman from settling for one of the many losers out there, this post will have been worth it.

I'm going to try something new. Actually, I think that I've done it a time or two recently.

Packt (a computer-related technology publisher) has ebooks they ordinarily sell, every day; one of those they offer free each day. The digital list price of probably most of these is well over a hundred dollars. The trick, of course, is catching one that you would like to have, on a day when it's free.

I'm going to commit to post some of these for the foreseeable future. I won't post all of them, but only the ones in which I have actually heard of what they are writing about (most of the time, I do not). My thinking is that the books in which I actually know what they are talking about will be ones with the broadest appeal to everyone, and therefore benefit the greatest number of MobileReaders.

I've lamented the fact that it seemed that no person or organization has tried to discover works in the Internet Archive that are that are still in the public domain but that the copyright holder, for any number of reasons, is allowing people freely to download.

That's not exactly right. At least one organization, Open Culture, tries to do that very thing.

I'm very confused. Works in the public domain don't have copyright holders, in so many words and by definition. Hence "public domain." In essence, they belong to the public at large and not to rights holders.

Well, it happens that today's free Packt book is on a subject that I have some familiarity with, so, following the "rules," (self-imposed, could end at any time) I "have" to post it. I was a "Forsensic Files" TV junkie, and digital forensics was frequently a part of investigation of crimes.
