Also, for anyone who hasn't yet read and was relunctant to buy the first three books in Lisa Marie Rice's Midnight/Men of Midnight series (Midnight Man, Midnight Run, Midnight Angel) due to the Ellora's Cave situation, she has the rights back and has reissued them all.

The blurb for each states "updated and lightly re-edited version." I have the original copies from back before EC went wacko so don't feel the need to rebuy them, though I am curious as to what was changed. Books 1 and 3 are my favorites of the series.

They're available at Kobo, ARe, and Amazon (I didn't check B&N or Google).

I used a portion of my hoard of eBook Bucks on ARe and re-bought Midnight Man. My plan was to compare it to my old free Kindle copy, then read the others.

Nothing substantial jumped out as new, which fits my expectations of a lightly re-edited version. Still, I am glad I spent the extra money to re-purchase the book. I am a very firm believer in awarding the creators of what entertains me, and this self-published version makes that a whole lot more likely than if I had bought the series from Ellora's Cave.

So I bought the series from ARe instead, since I've re-read the first book so many times.

Did I mention it was an actual hoard of eBook Bucks.?

Harlequin finally got back to my inquiry about the missing Fiona Brand book saying they don't have plans to release it in ebook form. Boo, I hate it when they release most of a series but are missing one in the middle.

I did get a Happy Birthday email from them with a 10% coupon code, 116HBDAY. I'm thinking it's one use per account since they sent it to me on two different email addresses. Good thru March 15 if anyone wants to give it a whirl.
