Um, no, 'that' is correct in this instance ('which' is not).

Longshoreman by Benjamin Pond

Growing up in the early part of the 20th century, the author shunned the life he could have had if he had taken over his father's drapery business. Instead he headed down to Dorset, purchased a boat and set up a business as a longshoreman, renting his boat to fishermen. During his life it is estimated that he spent 19,000 days fishing and caught 1,390,000 fish.
In Benjamin Pond's memoirs he describes the harsh life before the existence of the welfare state and how beachcombing assisted his poor income. He recounts his journeys of sailing around the coast of Hampshire and Dorset, of the changing conditions and weather and of his part in salvaging and rescuing other stricken craft piloted by less able people. Alongside he provides anecdotes and tales of the people and characters that he once knew.

Buddha Beach: Sedona, Arizona Volume 2 (The Southwest Gallery Series) by Deborah Carney, author & photographer

The photographs in this book are unique. As a result of fires the summer of 2014 and extreme storms, many of the rock cairns in this book were destroyed. In their place are new ones, but the cairns in this book mostly do not exist. I went back after the fires and storms and was saddened to see so many gone, yet heartened to see so many new and different ones in their place. Truly a living meditation garden of rocks.

Then you round a bend and see rock cairns, just a few to begin with. Then you see what appears to be a sentinel guarding the path.

When you head farther down the trail, you start to see more rock cairns, which here are called Buddhas.

As you look closer you will see the Buddhas are all unique, some are whimsical, some are complex. There are small ones and there are large ones, some you have no idea how they are balanced.

I invite you to enjoy this book filled with the rock Buddhas paired with quotes from Buddha. The first time I walked through the area it was what immediately came to my mind. Peace and serenity.

Birds of the Hanford Site: Eastern Washington (Windriver Series Book 2) by Dan Landeen

Almost 250 species of birds have been documented at the Hanford Site in eastern Washington. Hanford is where nine nuclear reactors were built as part of the Manhattan Project along that section of the Columbia River known as the Hanford Reach in the 1940s. Hanford is home to the largest tract of sagebrush/steppe habitat left in the state of Washington and as such is an attractive area for many species of birds and a place to rest during migration. Over 90 color photos of birds and Hanford photos are provided along with some general Hanford history. Today much of the Hanford Site has been designated as a National Monument and the areas that were contaminated by chemicals and radionuclides are being cleaned up and restored.

The title is correctly written as "How to write blogs that engage readers" not "How to write blogs, which engage readers". 'Engaging readers' is a defining characteristic (hence, 'that'), not an incidental one, of the blogs.

I'm not "into" Buddhism. But I like Sedona--it is beautiful!

91% Off this Ebook on Dealing with, and Conquering Chronic Pain.

91% off of digital list.

This book is published by a publisher of religious books. Because of that there may be some mentions of religion. Skimming over the preview of the book, however, I didn't see any. If there are any, I'm sure that they are few, and perhaps they are low-key, too.

Living Beyond Your Chronic Pain: 8 Simple Steps to a Pain-Free and Healthy Life. By Joseph Christiano. Rated 4 1/2 stars, from 12 reviews at the present moment. Print list price $16.99; regular(?) digital price $10.49; Kindle price now $0.99. Destiny Image, publisher. 224 pages. http://www.amazon.com/Living-Beyond-...d+Healthy+Life.

That's a distinction I wasn't aware of! I'll do some research on it.

I wonder if the part of the world you are from makes a difference. Where are you from?

I'm in the US and I also thought "which" was wrong, but I wasn't sure why so I didn't comment on it.

The general rule is "would it change the meaning of the sentence if the clause were removed?" If so, use THAT; otherwise, use WHICH.

Also, clauses with WHICH generally are set off with commas, while using THAT doesn't add a comma (after all, it isn't an incidental clause that can be removed...).
