Hmm. My case has arrived but I can't seem to get the auto sleep/wake to work. Do I need to switch it on and, if so, where do I find the necessary setting?

unfortunately, it sounds like this case doesn't have the magnet in the right place for auto/wake sleep.

Indeed, I suspect not. Also, the metal tab on the front cover, which sticks to the closure magnet, rubs on the display so will damage it over time.

So, a waste of time and it's going back. I really don't understand why it's so hard to get a decent, cheap folio cover like the one I have for my Glo.

I received both the Omoton and Fintie smarthsell cases today.

some observations

The side of the Fintie case is completely flat.
The Omoton case has this little ridge on the side that makes it much more comfortable to rest your thumb on and use the page turn buttons. For this reason alone I would recommend it over the Fintie. Also the little ridge makes it easier to open the cover.

The Omoton looks pretty close to the Amazon paperwhite case which I really like. The fintie case is completely open on the top and bottom. So I guess the Omoton gives a bit more protection if dropped on the top or bottom.

The "leather" of the Fintie case feels a little better than the Omoton. The fintie is smooth while Omoton is rough feeling.

Both do auto wake/sleep and have the hole cut out on the back for the power button. Both stay closed and shouldn't open on their own. Both fold completely back while reading.

Both cases are very light and add very little bulk to the voyage. Both seem pretty thin compared to the Amazon paperwhite case.

Overall I prefer the Omoton case over the Fintie. For the price these are being sold at right now I think anyone would be happy with either one. If you feel you need more room for your thumb while holding the voyage, go with the Omoton. If that doesn't bother you and all you want is a slightly better feeling case, go with the Fintie.

Thanks for this, I think I'm going with the Fintie. I'd love to try an Omoton case but for some reason we can't buy them in the UK and I've yet to find an ebay seller of them that will ship over here.

I also bought mine from the same seller. The magnets are much stronger than on any of my other cases, and work flawlessly.

I have a friend in America and she's happy to forward on to me the Omoton case, I've ordered the bright purple. I now have both the Fintie and the Omoton coming plus this one which I should get first as I needed a case asap and it was the only one I could get on UK Amazon within a few days. (Apart from the Origami)

Ironically of all the colours available all my three cases are purple my favorite colour is actually red but I find purple doesn't jar with the black frame and text screen of the ereader. I have almost identical 'cover the bezel cases' for my H20 and Glo and they are both purple too.

I never settle for one case, I tend to have two or three for each device.
