Fairly easy choice this month; I'm going with The Prettiest One. I have a fondness for amnesia stories.

I like both " Prettiest One " and " Still Waters " It's hard to decide which one ! I'll need to think on it a bit.

Hrm... there's actually some interesting ones this month.

The first thing that reaches out and smacks me in the face with a not-fresh fish is the tired trope of "waking up covered in blood and now must discover the truth and prove innocence" followed closely by "hidden pasts"...

I am going to have to come back to this and look again when I am feeling a little less jaded.

I decided to go with The Capital of Latecomers. Not sure I'll like it, but at least it sounded intriguing.

True but the real question is, are they covered in blood on a vacation beach in Sweden OR off I 91 north of Boston ? Decisions Decisions ?

Oh pooh. After all, there are only so many possible premises, and the fun is seeing how an author comes up with a new twist--one hopes--from the familiar starting point.

I started Still Waters about 1\2 way, so far I'm enjoying it. The characters have a hometown feel.

I went with Still Waters too. I liked the sound of The Capital of Latecomers when I just read the description, but not so much after reading the reviews.
