I just received another email from Tor, where they appologise for bad zip and give you a new link, which is basically the same link

I think not. Otherwise JSWolf would not have to work so hard to edit the first book that didn't have HTML format.

You might try e-mailing questions@tor.com and asking them. Several people -- including myself -- got an HTML version of the first book (which was originally PDF-only) just by asking. "I signed up late" isn't quite the same as "you didn't provide this the first time," but it might be worth a shot :-).

When we got the first book from Tor, we didn't know they had an HTML version available. So, what happened was that I converted the PDF. Not perfect mind you and did take a while to format it so it looks good. But now that I am reading it, I am fixing any errors I find. The only errors in my copy are some missing "fi","fl", and bad paragraphs. I just bookmark the page with the error(s), and late ron go back and correct them.

The eBooks from Tor are not free for uploading here. Tor might still allow you to get the HTML of Mistborn. Email Tor at the address the email came from and you will get an answer.

I just checked the link to the PDF edition and it still allows me to download it.

Yes, I know about this PDF - fi/fl problem. I had experienced one before. I had more problems though. Also ff and maybe something else but I don't remember. That's why I said

JSWolf would not have to work so hard

Just a quick note, Tobias Buckell announced that Tor would be giving away his debut novel Crystal Rain.

It's a good book. I really enjoyed it in print. Nice to see an electronic version coming down the pipe.

I am almost done with chapter 9 of Mistborn. So I once I finish chapter 10 and get the diff file made, I'll repost a new diff so everyone with a 500 or 505 can get my edited (up to chapter 10) conversion.
