Yes. Red's the most famous Rioja, but we also drink white and rosé versions from time to time (for some reason, white Rioja is one of the few white wine that doesn't give my Mum heartburn).

That would be a waste of good chocolate! I have tried melting the chocolate in the coffee, but it neither enhanced the coffee nor the chocolate craving I had.

Peet's Anniversary blend coffee in my cup this morning, as I figure out what needs to be done today.

Ah, that assumes it's good chocolate. IME, most chocolate eggs and bunnies tend to be at best so-so chocolate, so a bit of a homemade mocha might be just fine.

Haven't tried this years Anniversary blend coffee. I loaded up on Major Dickason's, and got the Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea, but didn't get the new Anniversary blend coffee. What do you think of it? Especially as compared to the Major?

My opinion of the two may be different than yours, but Major Dickason's works well for a wake me up, first cup of the day and the Anniversary Blend is a bit quieter and works for the rest of the day. So, a strong, rich coffee (Major Dickason's) and a smoother, more flavorful blend (Anniversary Blend).

P.S. The chocolate wasn't premier chocolate, just Doves dark chocolate eggs.

Ah, good description. Thanks. FWIW, coffee for me is first thing only, if at all. Then I switch to tea or diet coke. I find that too much caffeine is not good, especially later in the day. Even with tea, I switch to Oolongs or Keemuns later in the day. Or sometimes a first flush Darjeeling. They're all lower in caffeine/tannin than other teas.

I can drink coffee at any time of the day and it doesn't make any difference if it's decaffeinated or not. I do try to get water-processed decaf, if I can.

Tea does wake me up and makes it hard to sleep, even some of the decaffeinated ones. Strange, yes?

Strange. I wish I could get away with drinking just tea, but some days I need the extra hit of coffee. And, truth told, I enjoy a good dark full-bodied coffee like Major Dickason's.
