How did you get 0% on spot the difference ? Did you select too many objects that hadn't moved ?

I just copied the text from someone else who had posted his results on this thread and changed the numbers. Can't remember who ... But in my results it says: your choices suggest you prefer more masculine faces. I printed them out because I want to show them to a friend later today.

it was late. I chose some objects without thinking as I often do when I am in a rush: I let my good star guide me. I got 5 and missed 5. They averaged out to null.

It has been an interesting test. I am in the middle of one of those changes, and I am curious to see what i am and what i am not. The left hand was a novelty. In a woody allen movie I would go to an improbable lady to have the cards made for me.

Heh, it's what we call a 'professional deformation'. I see a number that seems out of the ordinary and immediately start to think: now what could be the cause of that?

I thought the spot the difference exercise was really fun. I was sitting in front of my computer talking to myself: elephant, flower, two teapots, two brushes, teddybear, binoculars, ironing board, ... over and over again for a whole minute

the famous outlier. I know a couple of ways to avoid its nefarious effects (mathematics, puach!). Of course to find out how it got there, that *is* interesting.

Our solution for outliers is simple: just ignore them. Get rid of them. Throw them out of your dataset. Works every time

Nah, just kidding. We have a couple of statisticians in our team who deal with that sort of thing. I'm a social scientist, math isn't my thing
