Occasionally I have accidentally used a credit to purchase a free/dirt cheap item when I didn't mean to, or a coupon is not properly applied, so I always check after each purchase too.
Audible/Amazon is always very good about correcting mistakes, but that doesn't mean they never make any!

Get the Audio of The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers for Only $4.98. Listeners Love It!

And get the ebook free with it, too, because this is a Whispersync deal! You'll get the ebook and audiobook synced together, too.

Considering just the audio, there is good bang for the buck. But, it may not seem as good as most that I post, because the Audible audio alone is only $11.95. However, that price is an exceptionally good one for such a very popular audiobook, and one of 8 1/2 hours' length.

For those unfamiliar with the author, Gary Chapman, he does have a religious approach in his books and makes religious references in them. I'm sure that that holds true for this book, too.

Title: The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers: The Secret to Loving Teens Effectively.
Genre: Non-Fiction (Parenting).
Author(s): Gary Chapman.
Price: $4.98 ($1.99 ebook (marked down) + $2.99 Whispersync audio).
Regular Price of Audio, by Itself, at Audible: $11.95 (1 credit).
Ebook Rating/Number of Reviews: 4.8 stars/233 reviews (Amazon).
Audio Rating/Number of Ratings: 4.9/13 ratings.
Pages/Audio Length: /8 hours and 30 minutes.
Narrator(s): Chris Fabry.
Audible URL: http://www.audible.com/pd/Self-Devel...ook/B01GQQ37RE.
Amazon URL (you can get the whole Whispersync deal here): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BXPWGZ2/.
Comments: The ebook is the #1 seller in two categories at the Kindle store.
Book Description (Amazon):
Over 600,000 copies sold! Socially, mentally, and spiritually, teenagers face a variety of pressures and stresses each day. Despite these pressures, it is still parents who can influence teens the most, and The 5 Love Languages of Teenagers equips parents to make the most of that opportunity.

In this adaptation of the #1
New York Times bestseller The 5 Love Languages (more than 10 million copies sold), Dr. Gary Chapman explores the world in which teenagers live, explains their developmental changes, and gives tools to help you identify and appropriately communicate in your teen's love language.

Get practical tips for how to:

- Express love to your teen effectively
- Navigate the key issues in your teen’s life, including anger and independence
- Set boundaries that are enforced with discipline and consequences
- Support and love your teen when he or she fails
- Get ready to discover how the principles of the five love languages can really work in the life of your teenage and family.

Thanks for the feedback.

The Whispersync deal on Gary Chapman's The 5 Love Languages of Children: The Secret to Loving Children Effectively is also cheaper than usual due to the ebook component being marked down to $1.99. The reason that I didn't post that deal is because the Whispersync deal for it was not an exceptional bargain. Reasons: the book is fairly short, 224 pages, the regular price of the Audible audio alone ($10.95) is pretty cheap, and the Audible narration component of the Whispersync deal is $3.99, making the Whispersync deal on this ebook a total of $5.98. However, here is a link to the book's Amazon webpage in case you're interested in it. The price of this ebook is also supposed to stay the same through Nov. 30.

Welcome to posting on MobileRead.

Karma headed your way for giving me the feedback.

Zodiac: The Shocking True Story of the Nation's Most Bizarre Mass Murderer

Whispersync: no deals at this time

After Jack the Ripper and before Son of Sam there was only one name their equal in terror: the deadly, elusive, and mysterious Zodiac. Beginning in 1968 the hooded mass murderer terrified the city of San Francisco and the Bay Area with a string of brutal killings. A sexual sadist, his pleasure was torture and murder. His first victims were a teenage couple, stalked and shot dead in a lover's lane. After another slaying, he sent his first mocking note to authorities, promising he would kill again. The official tally of his victims was six. The real toll may have reached 50. He was never caught. Graysmith, who was on the staff of the San Francisco Chronicle at the time of the murders, gives this gripping account of Zodiac's reign of terror.

Winnie-the-Pooh: vol 1

Note: all material is unabridged and taken from Winnie-the-Pooh (copyright 1926)

Whispersync: no deals at this time

Come with us to an Enchanted Place, a forest where Winnie-the-Pooh lived with Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, and Little Roo. The stories are about Christopher Robin and these good companions having wonderful times getting in and out of trouble. It is all very exciting and, really, quite thrilling no matter how young or old you may be. It is painful to try and imagine what the world would be like without them.

Blackstone Audiobooks presents, from the unabridged collection A.A. Milne's Pooh Classics, the 10 stories of Winnie-the-Pooh performed by Peter Dennis. This is the only reading of these immortal stories authorized by A.A. Milne's son, Christopher Robin, who wrote, "Peter Dennis has made himself Pooh's Ambassador Extraordinare and no bear has ever had a more devoted friend. So if you want to meet the real Pooh, the bear I knew, the bear my father wrote about, listen to Peter."

This collection includes the chapters:
In Which We Are Introduced to Winnie-the-Pooh and Some Bees, and the Stories Begin
In Which Pooh Goes Visiting and Gets Into a Tight Place
In Which Pooh and Piglet Go Hunting and Nearly Catch a Woozle
In Which Eeyore Loses a Tail and Pooh Finds One
In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump
In Which Eeyore Has a Birthday and Gets Two Presents
In Which Kanga and Baby Roo Come to the Forest, and Piglet Has a Bath
In Which Christopher Robin Leads an Expotition to the North Pole
In Which Piglet is Entirely Surrounded by Water
In Which Christopher Robin Gives a Pooh Party, and We Say Goodbye

This low price Classic has perhaps been mentioned in past years, but I don't see it in this thread.
Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi is a free kindle book today.

This opens up two of the Audible versions as low price whispersync deals, one 49 cents and one 99 cents.

$3.95 -- Ink and Bone -- Rachel Caine/ Julian Elfer --> 10.4 hrs/ R-4.3 --> fantasy

Ink and Bone --> Great Library Series (book 1 of 2)

Whispersync: Audible ($3.95) | Kindle ($7.99)

In an exhilarating new series, New York Times best-selling author Rachel Caine rewrites history, creating a dangerous world where the Great Library of Alexandria has survived the test of time....

Ruthless and supremely powerful, the Great Library is now a presence in every major city, governing the flow of knowledge to the masses. Alchemy allows the library to deliver the content of the greatest works of history instantly - but the personal ownership of books is expressly forbidden. Jess Brightwell believes in the value of the library, but the majority of his knowledge comes from illegal books obtained by his family, who are involved in the thriving black market. Jess has been sent to be his family's spy, but his loyalties are tested in the final months of his training to enter the library's service. When he inadvertently commits heresy by creating a device that could change the world, Jess discovers that those who control the Great Library believe that knowledge is more valuable than any human life - and soon both heretics and books will burn....

$4.95 -- Be Safe, Love Mom -- Elaine Lowry Brye/ Susan Boyce --> 8.0 hrs/ R-4.7 --> memoir

Quote:
Whispersync: Audible ($3.99) | Kindle ($10.99)

When you enlist in the United States military, you don’t just sign yourself up for years of duty—you also commit your loved ones to a life of service all their own.

No one knows this better than Elaine Brye, an army brat turned military wife turned military mom of four officers, each serving in a different branch of the military: Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy.

Brye’s father and mother met while both serving in the US Army, and her childhood was that of a typical army brat, with frequent moves—some to faraway countries—dinner-table conversations full of military lingo, an ever-present anxiety during her father’s deployments to Vietnam and elsewhere, and family vacations to national monuments and battlefields. In 1976—the first year women were accepted in the service academies and ROTC—Brye herself enlisted in the Air Force, where she would later meet her husband, an Air Force pilot.

Now Elaine Brye is a mom to four military officers, and for more than a decade she’s endured countless teary goodbyes, sparse communication from boot camps and training summers, deployments, emotional airport reunions, empty chairs at Thanksgiving dinners, and sleepless hours waiting for phone calls in the night. She’s navigated the complicated tangle of emotions—pride, worry, fear, hope, and deep, enduring love—that accompanies life as a military mom.

In Be Safe, Love Mom Brye reflects on her family’s military service and offers a lifetime’s worth of insight, comfort, wisdom, and a bit of humor to fellow military moms who are navigating the unpredictable life that accompanies having a child—or children—in uniform.

In intimate and instructive essays—on topics ranging from that first goodbye on induction day to the comforting power of the military community, from the healing power of faith to coping with the enormous sacrifice military life requires—Brye braids together her own personal experiences with those of fellow parents she’s met along the way, offering gentle guidance and hard-earned wisdom to those new to the sisterhood of military moms.

In this one mom doing her best to hold down the home front, readers will find a wise and endearing friend to guide them through the unpredictable life of having a child in uniform, all the while reminding us that within each military mom’s personal story lies universal experiences of courage, loss, loneliness, faith, pride, and ultimately, a parent’s unconditional love.

Buddhism for Beginners

Whispersync: Audible ($3.49) | Kindle ($13.99)

This user’s guide to Buddhist basics takes the most commonly asked questions - beginning with “What is the essence of the Buddha’s teachings?” - and provides simple answers in plain English. Thubten Chodron’s responses to the questions that always seem to arise among people approaching Buddhism make this an exceptionally complete and accessible introduction - as well as a manual for living a more peaceful, mindful, and satisfying Life. Whispersync: no deals at this time

Julian Fellowes's Belgravia is the story of a secret. A secret that unravels behind the porticoed doors of London's grandest postcode.

Set in the 1840s, when the upper echelons of society began to rub shoulders with the emerging industrial nouveau riche, Belgravia is peopled by a rich cast of characters. But the story begins on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. At the Duchess of Richmond's now legendary ball, one family's life will change forever....
