Finally home and really enjoying a fresh brewed cup of coffee - Starbucks Christmas Blend (found in my cabinet and I had forgot about). Now, munching on Goldfish crackers, Hershey's kisses, international biscuits (digestives), and trying to figure out what to make for dinner.

Time for an afternoon mug of unbranded Keemun tea, to relax with after a hard day on the fencing strip!

I'm trying Pu Erh (sp??) for the second time while more tea (regular one) is waiting for me in the kitchen.

Ohhh what did you think? You might need to play with steeping times. I start with 30 seconds and double with each steeping.

On the package it was written 3 minutes and not for several brews. It was quite different from what I've read on internet but since it's not a top quality one I did as written. It was okay actually. I'll try another way, your way, with the other brand (better one) that I got at the same time.
I'll let you know how it went

I steep the ones that say 3 minutes the same way I do the ones for 30 seconds. I found it works fine for all of them.

Yes, the sudden apparent shortage of quality Keemun has me seriously concerned and looking to stock up. Especially since Keemun is one of the few teas that ages well and actually improves over time, so I'm not worried about overbuying.

Hmmm. I think I saw the thread. Well, hopefully she'll be back.

Meanwhile, it's a grey and miserable day here, though warmer (7C). After a night of positively p***ing down rain, it's tapered off to a steady, unrelenting rain. Had to dredge the creek on Thursday, it was starting to overflow and flood out the hens.

Very definitely a day for Lapsang Souchong.

The Three Wolf Moon tee shirt? I got one for my daughter years ago -- she had a major thing going for wolves. But that was before I knew of its mystical properties.

And now to finish my last tea for the day.
