Watching the Super Bowl (14 v 0 to Green bay at the moment - end of 1st quarter) but not for much longer as it's 12:15am here so just about bed time.

BTW, if anybody else is watching it, would they agree with me that Christina Aguilera's rendition of the US national anthem was just embarrassing?

When I bought the 32" I joked about moving it to the computer when I got a bigger/better one.

BTW I successfully fought the urge to buy and will stick with what I've got for now.....

Did do some research though!


Right Now I've just finished alphabetizing my poetry books, they have been a mess since I moved in here some 8 years ago...

About to have pizza (combo) for dinner...

bloke was using a TV for his monitor 36" LCD. It has been having problems for a while and died the other day. So he bought a shiny new monitor! pretty! Still haven't got new computer for me But the parts are finally on order.

Our sole TV has always doubled as a PC monitor, though the old-ish projection unit didn't like it very much as I had to use S-Video (the DVI port was meant strictly for HD and I couldn't correct for overscan) and that limited things to 1024x768 and blurry outside of a very narrow viewing distance. We've since settled on a 40" LCD that works great, got it on the cheap at Wally-World and it does both HDMI and VGA. Currently I'm running my music-recording box on it (Win7/Mac dual-boot) in lieu of an AM2+ motherboard for the previous machine. Networked to my RAID array, Gigabit-style. There will likely be a Hulu Plus scrip in our future, in addition to whatever Google TV finally comes up with since by then we'll both be toting Android devices

I am reading the guff from the doctor. I failed my cholesterol test and my blood pressure test!

It is almost enough to make me start smoking again.

All my favourite things. Butter, cheese, eggs, salt. OMG probably corn chips too

Only allowed 150mls of wine. no prawns

I have three months to get the level down. I could starve

Right! Today I will eat all the rest of the non-allowed food in the house and start afresh tommorrow!
