Oh, yeah. Even as an adult I had a terrarium with several small species of anoles.

We do our best work in the dark! One of my jobs was working in a photo finishing plant as an electronic tech and that was our more or less official motto.

The PBM has used an analog camera.

Oh, yeah. I was a serious amateur in the 70s and 80s. I had a serious(ly expensive) 35mm camera with a set of lenses, filters, etc., and I developed my own E-6 process slide film.

TPBM has leftover Halloween candy and plans to enjoy it.

Nope. I prefer to eat them with potatoes and other veggies, not in a sandwich.

PBM is capable of thinking about eating human flesh without any queasy feelings. It's just meat, isn't it?

Au contraire. If not shoes (and why not shoes? it shocks me that not letting people wear shoes into your house is a thing) I wear substantial sandals or slippers. I don't go barefoot or socked, ever.

TPBM has used/uses an epilator.

Tried an ex-partners epilator on my arm to see how painful it was. I didn't enjoy the feeling.

TPBM is feeling a strong urge to hibernate with their books currently.

As for shoes in the house, you take your shoes off and put slippers on when entering the house unless you are a barbarian. My mother-in-law trained my wife well. For me? Happy wife, happy life. That is not a mountain I'm willing to die on.

Agreed. If you have carpets and rugs, inside and outside shoes are even more critical.

I don't think I have cooked with fish sauce myself, although I have eaten many a Chinese dish containing it. I find it a little too overpowering to be honest.

TPBM is already struggling with the winter blues as the days are shortening.
