There are (according to Amazon) only two Bluetooth enabled devices.
One isn't shipping yet.
The other one is not listed as one of your devices in your info box.

There are a number of exceptions, in addition to the one that you mention.

So consider the changes to the first post a WIP.
In fact, they may only first show up in the Wiki version of the first post.
But the contributor of that page is away this weekend.

@chrissfoot reported that it worked on his KT3
@skittyblock reported that it worked even on his KT3, more info on this reddit thread: here

For now we know it works for sure on some KT3s (if not on all of them).

It might work on KOA too, because it also uses some "special" build of Kindle 5.8.10 (it might even work on 5.8.11), but we still don't have any reports from the KOA.

If somebody has KOA, it's not a bad decision to try downgrading from 5.8.10 and report if it works.

Yes, I have read ever post to this thread, that is my job here.

There are a whole lot of special case exceptions to what is currently written.

Similar things to what you point out -
Like the ability to jail break a PW3-32Gbyte Kindle, if running a specific firmware.
I don't have one of those, so getting confirmation is a bit slow.

On the KT3 + Specific firmware versions = = = can be jail broken situation -
I have that model, but confirmation of reports is on my to-do list.
I am in no hurry on that one, since the Wiki version of these directions are still a WIP.
And the KOA2 is still 17 days away from hands-on testing.

So just take a deep breath - we will eventually get caught up here.

Now all that person has to do is log out, look at that post of theirs and look at the signature area of mine.

Mine is private to logged on members.

Pimping tapatalk in the body is public to anyone that happens to pass by.
I.E: The same as most of the other advertisements on this site.

So it is "bad form" to put up your own public advertisements on a public advertisement supported web site.

One more confirmation: KT3 G000K9 on 5.8.10 (3202100019) was donwgraded to initial factory 5.8.0.
Hint: copy initial firmware bin, dismount the device, but don't disconnect it from the computer, then select Update in the device menu.
