I can't seem to get warm and don't know why. The heat is up in the house, I have a blanket over me, and it is 40F outside; not that cold, although it is still suppose to drop a bit more this evening. Time for hot chocolate or coffee.

Nope. When I do that, I hide under the blanket.

I still remember reading Salem's Lot when I first lived away from home. I stayed awake all night, on a work night, left all the lights on, and was too afraid to move from the corner of the couch.

I wonder if I would feel the same way, if I read it again?

Piled up in my chair with a dog and a blanket, drinking black coffee and eating a chocolate chip scone. It is finally going to get above freezing this afternoon. Crazy cold for Atlanta! It's 15F this morning, and yesterday morning it was 5F. Crazy.

First tea of the day, but not my first jolt of caffeine. I had a coffee in a foam cup on the highway this morning, and a Coke Zero after I did some shopping on the way home.

Nice to slow down for a bit.
