And therein lies the issue. I ordered it directly from Mike Sibley (http://www.sibleyfineart.com/) and it apparently got lost in the snowstorm either at Heathrow or NYC.

Just trying it out a little further here at the moment, deciding whether it's right for the next drawing I have in mind...

@ GeoffC: many people using bad language. I was tired of receiving spams from many crazy people like "do u wanna view my cam? i'm n*ked right now"... arggg. as if chat room is the place for prostitute. I think I would never going to any chat room again.

May I ask what the total damages were per sheet? One arm and two legs?

Not quite a pound of flesh, but 10 sheets worked out to about $5 per sheet (approx 23 x 20 inches)

Well actually Mike is great guy, he shipped the replacement order for free! And if it should actually show up at some point I figure I owe him for it as well.

Not nearly as bad a situation as the Ebook reader (Sony Daily Edition) that went missing that I shipped to India to one of the members here.

We ended up splitting the loss for a number of reasons.

good for you! I just love paper.
The book restorer, where I sometimes work, has a waste paperbin, where I'm always browsing wether she has thrown away something I can use. Especially the handmade papers!
She's going to learn me some bookbinding this month. Yeahhh.

I wouldn't say I love it, but I did try a lot of different types to try to find the best for my drawings and always looking for new/different types.

Right now I am packing for a business trip to Germany.

Quite an important one. It is entirely possible that I could be out of work on my return. My role at work was made redundant exactly a year ago. Since then I have been seconded to a different team - the length of that initial secondment was one year.

It has yet to be decided (or the decision has not yet been made public) whether or not;

a) the team I am seconded to continues its work
b) if it does, whether I am still needed / wanted on the team

Tomorrow I have a meeting with our Managing Director and on Thursday with our HR Director. These two meetings should decide my fate

Options are;

a) Team continues and I continue on it
b) Team doesn't continue, or I'm not wanted on it any more but another role is found for me
c) I'm given my notice

Wish me luck!
