I find it to be quicker than looking up definitions on my (touch screen) PRS-600. I can't say if the new Sonys are faster, though. I like the 4-way on my Kindles because they put the cursor exactly where I want it. Same for copying text. It's much more precise.

And the floating angels.

I've been on a workshop today: 17th-century painting like Rembrandt. I painted an angel of one on Rembrandt's paintings with 8 different layers. Spend the whole day just painting that little angel in oil-paint.

But I'm progressing: last year I did a workshop Fine Painting : 3 pears on a shelf.

About forty years ago some Rembrants came on tour to Toronto. My then-wife was an art history major, so I got dragged along to look at them. I must say, I was blown away. The real paintings don't look much like the picture book versions. Now I always try to catch those tours, even by myself if need be.

He is the best. If you could only see his Nachtwacht ( Nightwatch) at the Rijkmuseum in Amsterdam...beautiful. A painting of his is now being offered for sale at the Tefaf in Maastricht ( huge artfair), for 34 million euro's.

When you see a double rainbow in Yosemite, take drugs immediately and document the whole thing on video. When you see a triple rainbow, head immediately to the nearest Apple Store...drugs optional. Video not necessary, as CNN will most likely be there anyway.
