Finally decided to write an email to Penguin about the appalling quality of their ePub edition of Ulysses, which I bought for £9.09 back when Waterstones was still selling to France and found unreadable. I do hope somebody will read it and think about it. And I'd really like to know if the corresponding paper edition is as bad. Somehow I doubt it.

I tried to post a review about this book on the Penguin website, but strangely it wasn't published.

Thanks! No, my phone isn't rooted. I've got an LG Ally, which isn't particularly powerful, BUT... we finally got the 2.2 upgrade. It is so much better -- battery life is better, phone is more responsive, I can move apps to the SD card. I don't mind paying a one-time fee for a tethering app, so I just wanted to see if you had tried any of them. There's only one place I go that I need it, but I'm there every month or two for a couple of days and I sure would like to be able to do it.

I just bought the Easy Tether app for $9.99 and it seems to work great. I'm pleased -- I think it will serve my purpose perfectly!

Why do you need to tether a phone for? Are you afraid it will run away? Is it the mating season already?

At work we have at least 3 iPhones, 1 iPod (mine) and 1 HTC Android phone (also mine). Plus an occasional iPad.
