Sorry for the delayed response. As far as stuff I did on my Kobo I just installed KoboCloud and synchronized it to Google Drive. Then, since I use Tachiyomi on my phone, all I do is automatically download new chapters to my phone in cbz file format (there is an option for this in Tachioymi's settings) and then upload them to my google drive. To make things easier on the uploading part, I installed an app called DriveSync that syncs a folder on my phone to my Google Drive, the folder I chose was Tachiyomi's download folder so all I have to do is open the app, press the sync button and every chapter that has been downloaded is uploaded to Google Drive. Only drawback is having to delete the read chapters on Google Drive since the app doesn't do that, and there is a size limit to automatic uploads on the free version on the app, any chapter above 10mb I upload manually.

Does Mangadex and MangaHub work for anybody? I keep getting Download time out or Forbidden on those 2. The other 3 works fine.
Edit.. read a few pages behind and found that to be the case. I just disabled Mangadex and MangaHub. Last edited by jaceygan; 09-09-2022 at 10:22 PM. |

I tried adding tcb scans site to the list of sources, but I couldn't figure it out. If anyone can add onepiecechapters.com I would be eternally grateful.

I'm trying to add support for the kobo sage, and after adding the device descriptor to the qt platform plugin it's working almost perfectly, aside from the fact that every touch is registered multiple times, so it's impossible to properly type on the keyboard.
Unfortunately I have no idea ho to solve this, does anyone more knowledgeable than me have any pointers? |

@mlaw: The input driver found on the Sage & Elipsa (and the Clara 2E) reports duplicate ABS_MT_TRACKING_ID values, which is out-of-spec (it's only supposed to be sent when it *changes*), and this apparently confuses the hell out of Qt (and makes libevdev shout at you, not that it matters here).

Thanks @NiLuJe for the help. I made a quick fix to get it working on the Sage, though it will probably break other devices.
For anyone interested, you can can download the fixed libkobo.so from here:Put it in Code:
.adds/qt-linux-5.15-kde-kobo/plugins/platforms Please let me know if it works on your Sage or if it broke your working device. |

I works on Sage! Thanks alot @mlaw!
This is the first time I see it running so my biggest question is: it is possible to sideload mangas? How? An additional note is about the WiFi error I get whenever I launch it. It looks like the wifi status is not reflected correctly. But manga sources are still working. Is that normal? Is it happening on other ereaders as well? The top right icon stays disabled... EDIT: Somtimes I get the message "could not start process (check failed: ok)" at start and it doesn't work. Last edited by CyberPaul; 10-23-2022 at 09:54 AM. |

Hi! I've been trying to install UMR on my Kobo Libra 2 but it seems to freeze when it opens up. Touch doesn't seem to work and the I seem to be able to make a wifi pop up apper using the power button.
One time the manga list appeared but other than that nothing worked at all. Pasted the log here if it can be of any help: https://pastebin.com/sh5mZYTA Anyone had a similar issue? |

I am back form my exile and brought a new major release.
Fixed Mangadex Added a new manga source: ReadManga (www.readm.org) Removed Mangahub Fixed a bug where updated favorites kept getting pushed to the top of the list Added a experimental touchscreen handler, to hopefully add support for newer devices. This also includes the fix from @mlaw. Additional code is taken form @NiLuJe's FBInk touch tool. You can enable it by editing the file ultimatemangareader.sh, adding ":experimentaltouchhandler" to the end of QT_QPA_PLATFORM=... for example: Code:
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=kobo:logicaldpitarget=108:experimentaltouchhandler Feedback if this is working at all on the (not so) newer devices would be appreciated ![]() |

Whoa, that was quick. It solved my issue with the Kobo Libra 2. Touch works fine now and I can finally read anything!
The only issue left is that I can't use search, the cursor blinks but the keyboard does not pop up |

@OfficerAction: You can drop the sunxi pen mode stuff, it's implemented in finger_trace because of how much draw calls it does (especially with the pen) (and also as documentation for the mess), but it's not relevant to your use-case

May ask your firmware version? I installed the latest version and touch isn't working (I already tried with :experimentaltouchhandler)
