Er... scrap that, sorry, what I meant was the Froschmäusekrieg might interfere w/ the Batrachomyomachia because of a sloppy control of the pharmacodynamics... (our readers will of course have corrected right away).

BTW do you know the word "muscle" comes from "mouse" (or "rat")? In Latin "mus" means "mouse" & "musculus" means "little mouse" [the scientific name of the rat is "mus musculus domesticus"] : when you move your arms, for example, you biceps moves as if there was a mouse under your skin ; and the scientific words took on "myo" = "mouse" for "muscle" like in "myopathy"... as the "myo" in Batrachomyomachia. (nevermind)

Actually, batrachomyomachia is based on the Latin root words batra, meaning mucus, and chomyo, meaning delightful or lovely, and machia meaning machine or automaton. Thus, the word batrachomyomachia, properly analyzed, refers to a machine which emits lovely phlegm - a Dalek! It's simple Latin, really.
