Somehow I managed to buy from the deal without knowing about the deal

Luckily there is just a handful I'm interested in. No way am I going down the MC Beaton path and I already have or have access to the Crimson, and there weren't very many others that caught my eye that I don't already have. I don't know if that's just sad or what. So maybe Connie Mason or Jasinda Wilder. Or wonder of wonders... maybe not at all

I didn't change anything just click okay when login box popped up. I'm thinking try disabling your Firewall. Something is blocking it can you use the LAN feature of ES File Explorer app to connect to your Mac? If not that confirms block port issue.

Just tried. No I can't. Says a successful scan, but nothing. Turned off the Firewall, still no connection. Oh well, tomorrow. Maybe. This is beginning to feel like way too much effort. Would rather read. May feel differently tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

It could be your firewall, your Router or your AV or some setting on the mac where you have to enable it to share files.
